Shopping Perks Coordinator

We need someone to promote, register and coordinate box top collection/submission, Stop & Shop A+ rewards and Amazon Smile program.

Dates: monthly Volunteers needed: 1‐2

Time Commitment: 2‐4 hours per month and availability to collect from school once a month


Spirit Wear

Support the school community by planning and coordinating the sale of BRMS t‐shirts, sweatshirts, and

sweatpants. Distribute items during lunch blocks and/or as gifts for the holiday season.

Date: Fall Volunteers needed: 8

Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

Help show BRMS teachers our appreciation and coordinate a spring luncheon. Event includes set‐up

and clean‐up along with coordinating meal including receiving dishes prepared by families.

5th Grade Fun Night

Plan and enjoy a themed evening of fun for all fifth grade students.

Date: Spring Volunteers needed: 10

Time Commitment: 4‐6 hours plus evening of event



A fun fall fundraiser where students collect sponsor money for each lap they run. This event is held

during the school day in the morning.

Date: Friday early Fall

Time Commitment: varies for pre‐planning, day of set‐up/collecting, and sorting after event

Family Night Event Planning

Plan fun ways to meet and connect with other BRMS families and enjoy an evening out. Events for this

include Providence Bruins game (January/February) and URI Basketball game.

Dates: Vary; monthly Volunteers needed: 1‐?

Time Commitment: 1‐2 hours; plan the event


School Store

Plan and coordinate items for students to purchase during the three lunch blocks (10:50‐12:30) the first

and third Friday of each month.

Dates: two Fridays during the school day per month Volunteers needed: 2 for each Friday

Time Commitment: 2 hours (includes 20 minute setup)


5K Crazy Coyote Chase

Our largest annual spring PTO fundraising event held on a Saturday morning in April which includes a 1

mile fun run and 5K. The Saturday event Includes a silent auction and raffle items.

End of Year Picnic

Plan a treat for the students at the end of the year by coordinating the delivery of Del’s

Lemonade during the picnic.
