We are thrilled to announce an exciting milestone for our Broad Rock Middle School students! Last month, South Kingstown High School (SKHS) students currently enrolled in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs made a special visit to Broad Rock to celebrate our 8th graders who have been accepted into various CTE programs.
In a exciting ceremony, each accepted student received a certificate of acceptance and was presented with an SKHS t-shirt, marking the beginning of their CTE journey. This celebration represents not just an academic achievement, but a significant step toward their future careers.
SKHS offers an impressive array of CTE programs, including:
- Construction Technology
- Allied Health (EMT and CNA certification tracks)
- Studio Art
- Computer Science
- Biomedical Sciences
These programs provide students with hands-on experience and practical skills in their chosen fields, preparing them for both college and career pathways.
We are so proud of our 8th graders' dedication and hard work that has earned them spots in these outstanding programs. As they prepare to transition to high school, we're confident that the skills and knowledge they'll gain through these CTE programs will set them up for success in their future endeavors.
Congratulations to all our accepted students - we can't wait to see what you'll achieve at SKHS!
