Welcome to 6th grade Problem Solving! Please visit this page often as I will try to keep you informed of the activities in the class and also advise you of events and other information.
The class links at the left will help you navigate through the various pages in my website and the other important school and district pages.
Homework postings are of particular importance! Please check the Homework web page weekly. Because I see the students once a week, homework is due the following week. Homework MUST be in class the following week in order for students to earn credit. No late homework will be accepted. If students are absent the day homework and classwork are assigned, it is still their responsibility to get the homework and classwork. I have a bin in the room where students can get their missed homework/classwork (it will have their name on it) the day they return. I will be more than happy to make arrangements and work with a student if they are having difficulty with any assignment!
For Quarter 4, students will be graded as follows...
- Homework = 15%
- Classwork = 15%
- Quizzes = 25%
- Tests = 45%
Since I see the students once a week, I do not have as many grades as core classes which affects the final grade.
